New Quilt
This is for the new GREAT granddaughter we're expecting in the spring. She will be the daughter of Destiny, Bobby's granddaughter.
I like your blog Linda, and really like the quilts I've seen so far. You like bright colors, like me, and you choose fun compositions. I read that you are going to get a quilting machine? Do you do free motion quilting? Are you investing in one of those long arm thingys? I'm intrigued by them, but since free motion totally evades me now, I can't imagine using one of the big dudes!
I have found a long-ish arm machine that attaches to a table that will allow up to a king-sized bed quilt. I am learning about free motion quilting, and have done some, but will do exclusively after I get my machine.

ReplyDeleteThat is waaay cute! Good job, nana! I'm guessing camo is the nursery theme?
ReplyDeleteYep, that's where she's starting.
ReplyDeleteDarling quilt. I love looking at your creations. I wish we lived closer because I think I might have liked to learn how to quilt.
